Dr Rebecca Spence

Rebecca has over 20 years’ experience working with civil society and government leaders in a range of Asia Pacific countries.

Her professional experience includes: delivering leadership skills training in developing countries; delivering conflict and fragility advisory services; gender and social inclusion advisory services; specialised training design in leadership for peace, and women, peace and security; capacity building; dialogue design; monitoring and evaluation; partnership brokering; and facilitation of high-level meetings and dialogues.

Rebecca is currently team leader for the design and delivery of three ACIAR-funded leadership training programs which cater to agricultural researchers and scientists in 23 countries.

She is a member of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs Technical Advisory Panel for Design, Capacity Building and Monitoring and Evaluation; and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Conflict and Security Panel.

Dr Philip R Harrell

Phil Harrell (B.A., M.Litt., MBA., DBA., Cmgr IML) is a sought-after public speaker, educator and consultant. He has been presenting his unique and engaging style of leadership and management development training throughout Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and South East Asia for over twenty- five years. These have included the design and delivery of major organisational change initiatives, executive leadership development, strategic planning, organisational teambuilding and project management consulting and training.

Dr Harrell also has contractual obligations at the University of New England (UNE) through supporting UNE’s involvement with ACIAR funded projects. He has held a visiting Professorship at the University Tartu, Estonia Business School.

Dr Harrell is a qualified Master Coach in Leading, Managing and Coaching by Values through the International Coach Federation (ICF). Phil is also an accredited provider of multiple training tools including DiSC, HBDI and Five Behaviours. He is a registered Chartered Manager assessor with the Institute of Managers and Leaders (IML).

Dr Peter McNamara (B.A., MEd., MBA., DBA., Cmgr IML) is an accomplished management professional adept at assessing clients’ needs and goals, and formulating recommendations in the fields of strategy, leadership, management, team effectiveness and change. He has recently completed a Doctorate on the time-management behaviours of small-business managers. Peter is an engaging speaker, trainer and presenter employing clarity, innovation and humour to deliver effective presentations to diverse audiences at all organisational levels.

His background is in wide variety of industries, including healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, equipment hire, fast moving consumer goods, continuous improvement, technology and insurance.
